The Company:
A Major Operator

The Role:
Gathers and reviews documentation to qualify suppliers.
Facilitates and coordinates bid meetings and preparation of bid packages.
Creates and applies bid evaluation criteria.
Manages the tendering activities associated with medium value/risk contracts.
Develops negotiation plans and leads negotiations for contracts and claims.
Reviews scopes of work for contracts and identifies gaps to be addressed.
Administers post award contract activities, including preparing contract renewals and extension requests for contracts.
Reviews and recommends early termination, modification, re-negotiation or new contracts as appropriate; responds to and negotiates basic contractor and company claims
Serves as a point of contact regarding contractual issues.
Establishes formal and informal relationships that enable business results; communicates effectively at all levels of the organization to motivate others to contribute their best.
Influences contracting process based on understanding and interpretation of P/SCM system (i.e. Ariba, SAP, JDE, SIMs, SDMS, ASQ, etc) strengths and weaknesses; responsible for creating complex ad hoc reports.
Coaches others on the use of P/SCM systems.
Shares knowledge, experience and tools that can help others develop in contracting and promote the use of new solutions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
4 year undergraduate university degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management required. MBA in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or certificate in SCM
1 or more EPC / EPCI/ EPCM Contract Administration Experience - Major Capital Projects Services Contract formulation experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
EPCI Contract Administration - MCP Services Contract experience
