The Company:
Our Client has operations in the world's most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The company also has interests in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, the Netherlands and Norway. The client is the largest private producer of oil in Kazakhstan and the top O&G producer in Thailand. They produce almost half of the crude

The Role:
The job will report to the project Supply Chain Manager and will be a part of the owners team group responsible for creation and management of all contracts and purchase orders for the duration of the project. The job will be required to interface with the central SCM group in Aberdeen and follow all companies relevant policies and procedures, and will be responsible for the team's compliance with specific contracting policies and procedures.

The key responsibilities are:

1. Assist in the establishment, development and implementation of the contract strategy and plan.
2. Development of project specific contracting procedures.
3. Lead FEED and EPC bid document preparation issue, clarifications, evaluations, selection and negotiations through to approvals and award.
4. Prepare and administer all third party contracts
5. Ensure all contracting related corporate, Joint Venture (JV), PRC and BU compliance needs are satisfied.
6. Provide direction to Contract Administrators as needed.
7. Monitor and communicate contract performance.
8. Manage contract changes and claims.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner to keep Company personnel abreast of on-going operations. Proven ability to adapt to a changing environment and changing methods of working.
-Ability to work flexibly with the other members of the project team.
-Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and meet tight deadlines.
-Must be able to multi task and deal with regular interruptions.
-Ability to deal challenging situations.
-Problem solving skills.
-Self motivated.
-Familiar with Chevron eProcurement, eSourcing and Ariba
