The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 30 Countries worldwide.In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Construction Stage.

The Role:
Our Client is currently looking for a Contracts Engineer to join its C&P Team. Based within the Perth office, this role will provide contracts engineering support to Corporate & Project on various scopes as assigned with some supervision and support from the Contract Coordinator.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Achieve cost savings through the contracting process
• Continually assess C&P procedures and processes and assist in implementing improvements as required to support the business
• Conduct prequalification, preparation, issue, receipt, opening and assessment and negotiation of tenders in accordance with approved Procedures.
• Finalise award and participate in management of Contracts. Ensure Contract Variations and Contract Claims are identified early and managed in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitoring of vendor performance and Maintain positive vendor relationships
• Preparation of documents for presentation to Contracts Committee and various JV approval committees in a timely manner

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years Contracts and Procurement experience, preferably in oil and gas industry
• Engineering/Quantity Surveying qualification, Business Administration, Law or equivalent professional qualification
• Procon and SAP skills (MM module) - Desirable
• Experience in contract formulation activities, systems and processes coupled with a working knowledge of engineering and or services/consultancy practices.
