The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with a number of current projects underway.

The Role:
This job will primarily be focused on leading the contract management activities for the Beta development project, while providing support to other Norway activities as directed by the Manager, SCM North Sea. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a company Project Implementation Manual (SPIM) SCM compliance plan for Beta and delivering on that plan, including particularly the development and implementation of contracting and procurement strategies, and facilitating contractor / supplier performance management.

General
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding annual planning objectives, measures, and performance targets.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of Contract Management.

With respect to contributing to the Contract Management function:
• Develop and maintain a company Project Implementation Manual (SPIM) SCM compliance plan for Beta and deliver on that plan
• Work with project stakeholders to develop contracting plans, co-ordinate and communicate with various project stakeholders the timely delivery of their responsibilities/deliverables required for contract formation.
• Manage the contract formation cycle.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to internal customers with regards to contract management activities.
• Manage contract compliance discrepancies.
• Respond to, and if appropriate escalate, all internal and external contract inquires.
• Resolve issues escalated by users and / or suppliers as it relates to contract management and provide recommended solutions for issues requiring leadership support.
• Manage the contract change request process when triggered.
• Monitor contract expiry
• Manage the contract close-out process
• Manage the warranty claim process.
• Monitor the company’s performance related to contract terms.
• Provide historical information related to a supplier(s) contract compliance and performance to the appropriate resources during the sourcing process.

Working Conditions:

• Work may involve extended periods of time at a computer including tasks such as reviewing and preparing documents, hardcopy data, and performance metrics reporting.
• Multiple competing deadlines, complexity/quantity of tasks can at times directly and indirectly result in elevated levels of stress.
• The inability to control demand and supply in a volatile market place may add to the stress level.
• This job is engaged occasionally outside normal business hours to support the Supply Operations team and the business unit.
• May require occasional travel.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
5 Years experience of supply chain experience
Experience in Drilling related contracts
Business / Engineering Degree
Oil & Gas Industry experience
