The Role:
Responsibilities


-Owns the Client Contract PROCESS from the moment the tender evaluation commences up to the end date of the Client Contract.
-Works with Sales & Marketing and participates in the tender evaluation, assessment and response process to ensure ALL Contract-related terms and conditions
(whether legal or commercial) are properly addressed and assists Sales & Marketing to commercialize the opportunity.
-Along with Sales & Marketing and the relevant segment, ensures that a Contract Owner is assigned to each Client Contract.
-Reviews and assesses the liabilities present in our Client Contracts in order to provide expert advice to our segment operations managers and management team.
-Collaborates with the Legal Department, Finance Department (including Tax), HSE, Supply Chain, Operations (or any other department/function) as appropriate, to ensure
contractual and commercial risks and exposures are clearly identified, analyzed and properly addressed in contractual provisions.
-Assists our segment operations’ managers, the management team and the relevant departments/functions with the review and assessment of the commercial exposures present in
our Client Contracts.
-Provides overall Contractual advice to management and actively seek involvement in GeoMarket business plans, strategies and operations as part of the management team and in
line with Area strategies
-Ensures that Our Client Contracts for products and/or services signed in the GeoMarket are in compliance with the Client Contracts Risk Standard and the company contracting
guidelines. Proposes and implements tender procedures, contractual procedures, practices and guidelines as needed to improve the contract management processes and function.
-Completes a Contracts Rating Sheet for each Contract reviewed and ensures these are electronically filed in CRM.
-Manages and supervises Client Contracts personnel (i.e. Contracts Analysts, etc) in the GeoMarket. Manages contract claims or disputes with the support of the Legal Department
whenever necessary. Interacts with all necessary GeoMarket support functions and departments in matters related to Client Contracts and/or wellsite subcontracts.
-Manages and administers contract-related information in the Contracts module of the Client
-Relationship Management database for every Contract signed.
-Assists the Area Contracts Manager and Area General Counsel on contracts-related initiatives as required.
-Collaborates with the Legal Department, as appropriate to ensure contractual risks are clearly identified and properly addressed in contractual provisions.
-Negotiates and closes contractual disputes with clients, being responsible for negotiation strategies, resolution and follow up in coordination with the Legal Department and the
-Marketing Department. Participates in the Contracts Function training and development initiatives and completes all assigned training.
-Participates in assigned Contracts Function and Marketing Department Management strategic initiatives.
-Conducts periodic contractual audits to measure the level of contractual compliance in the GeoMarket as well as identifies areas of improvement.
-Along with the Contract Owner, leads and proactively manages all aspects of Post Award Contract Management including (but not limited to) Post Award Contract Reviews (PACR),
-Mid Term Contract Reviews (MTCR) & CCMS Self-Assessments including follow up of action items of RWPs (in Quest or otherwise).
-Promotes and conducts training/presentations related to CCRS or Post Award Contract Management in the country/GeoMarket/Segment.
