The Company:
World leading engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance (EPCM) provider for the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation and mining industries.

The Role:
• Identify, develop and deliver financial savings and value creation for designated business partners by developing contracting strategies for ongoing activities through application of supply chain management skills and techniques.
• Manage a portfolio of contracts that supports the operational business need.
• Manage processes for developing and implementing contracts, obtaining best value for by leveraging synergy opportunities from parent companies.
• Ensure that all contracts are managed in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Co-ordinate commercial activities relative to on-going contractual support e.g. rate reviews, contract amendments etc.
• Develop and maintain excellent business relations through a highly collaborative interface with the business partners and parent companies, as well as key service providers.
• Be a champion of business process and effective change management through the application of active contract management. Provide ongoing commercial support to functional contract managers.
• Be an active supporter of knowledge sharing opportunities within the contracts team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Qualified to degree level
• Experience as a minimum within an Oil & Gas company, in a supply chain/procurement/contracting environment(s)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven knowledge of commercial frameworks
• Excellent contract drafting skills
• Mature negotiation skills
• Knowledge of integrated supply chain organisation
• Flexible and creative approach with willingness to embrace change
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic with ability to work as part of a Team
• Ability to foster mature / excellent working relationships with Key Service Providers
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functional lines.
• Good presentation skills
• Knowledge of EU legislation as it applies to procurement of goods and services
• Demonstrate ethical integrity
• Fully competent in SAP
