The Company:
Our Client is the Operator of one of the largest remaining gas fields with estimated reserves of about 3tcf, to be produced during a 30 year lifespan, will meet about 8% of the country's gas requirements.

The Role:
Identify, develop and deliver financial savings and value creation for designated Company business partners by developing contracting strategies for ongoing activities through application of supply chain management skills and techniques.

Manage a portfolio of contracts that supports the operational business need.

Manage processes for developing and implementing contracts, obtaining best value for Company by leveraging synergy opportunities from parent companies.

Ensure that all contracts are managed in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Co-ordinate commercial activities relative to on-going contractual support e.g. rate reviews, contract amendments etc.

Develop and maintain excellent business relations through a highly collaborative interface with the business partners and parent companies, as well as key service providers.

Be a champion of business process and effective change management through the application of active contract management. Provide ongoing commercial support to functional contract managers.

Be an active supporter of knowledge sharing opportunities within the contracts team.

Approve and give functional guidance on all ad hoc commitment requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Proven knowledge of commercial frameworks.
Excellent contract drafting skills.
Mature negotiation skills.
Knowledge of integrated supply chain organisation.
Flexible and creative approach with willingness to embrace change.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic with ability to work as part of a Team.
Ability to foster mature / excellent working relationships with Key Service Providers.
Strong communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functional lines.
Good presentation skills.
Knowledge of EU legislation as it applies to procurement of goods and services.
Demonstrate ethical integrity.
Fully competent in SAP.
Qualified to degree level.
Experience within an Oil & Gas company, in a supply chain/procurement/contracting environment(s).
