The Company:
Our Client, a major oil and gas operator, seeks a Contracts Administrator to join their team.

The Role:
Job Description:

• Deliver on assigned OE & OA action items Personnel and Organization
• Support Team Development
• Support appropriate external resources required for the Downstream Contracts Team to complete Phase 4 deliverables Technical / Project Management / Interface
• Support the use of the BU contracting processes, procedures and systems for the Phase 4 contracts and service orders
• Assist the Project Contracts Advisor with administrative support as required in the execution of all Project Contracting Activities.
• Deliver the administration of ProCon, the Project’s post-award document management system including upload documents, ensuring appropriate work-flow and contract close out.
• Ensure post-contract administration activities are completed for all contracts including but not limited to:
o ensuring all needed documentation is received and contract files are complete
o scanning all necessary documents into the various document management systems
o ensuring certificates of insurance are up to date
• Support the use of ProCon and other eTools
• Support the Houston Contracts Team regarding claim avoidance and mitigation
• Support the review and approval of Project invoices.
• Deliver various monthly and ad hoc reports including but not limited to contract expiration reports.
• Execute contracting closeout activities.
• Maintain and organize contracting documentation to ensure the management of all contracting activities with excellence.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in developing contracting administrative procedures and experience in supporting the formulation of bid packages for all types of contracts (reimbursable, lump sum EPC, etc.).
• Experience/ability to support bid analysis, contractor selection and contract negotiation processes.
• Proven ability to act in lead role in the administration and status reporting of minor single service contracts, consulting agreements, and staff augmentation service contracts including Change Management, lien waivers, insurance, claims mitigation & closeout, preparation of status/tracking reports, etc.
• Prior experience on a multi-functional project team with major contractors on a large capital project.

• 7+ years preferred
• College Degree Preferred
