The Company:
Our client is a major Oil & Gas operator, active worldwide working to meet the world's growing demand for energy by exploring for oil and natural gas, refining and marketing gasoline, producing chemicals and researching renewable technologies.

The Role:
Will have demonstrated experience to effectively support the administration of construction contracts in accordance with the following responsibilities:

•Formulate contracts using standard process and procedures and interfacing with support groups (legal/finance/tax/ compliance) to ensure terms and conditions are accurately reflected in the contract per contracting procedure requirements.
•Administer EPC lump sum contracts including Change Management, lien waivers, insurance, claims mitigation & closeout.
•Prepare change notification, change orders, claims and correspondence in accordance with construction contract provisions and administration procedures.
•Able to maintain contract & change order documentation in the contract administration system.
•Ensure appropriate the relevant approvals are obtained for the various contract forms/documentation used to administer the contracts prior to communication with contractors.
•Coordinate post award activities including warranty checks, release of retention, and release of letters of credit
•Required to utilize common project cost and contracts database, maintain close working relationship with project controls, construction management and engineering teams to ensure seamless communication of accurate data and proactive response to information.
•Participate in Contractor meetings where required and support the collection of action items and documentation associated with these meetings

•Support the Lead Contract Advisors to prepare and proactively analyze monthly contract status reports for Project Management to allow timely corrective actions & ensure achievement of project objectives.
•Maintain the contracts deliverables register and communicate progress on contract deliverables to the Lead Contracts Advisor.
•Ability to prepare written documents for transmittal to contractors

Interpersonal Skills
•Support the Lead Contracts Advisors for the resolution of conflicts and achieve consensus between 3rd party contractors and in-house legal staff on contract terms and conditions.
•Maintain positive relationships with peers, project management team and contractors.
•Hold self accountable for progress and results of work deliverables.
•Seek work direction from Lead Contract Advisors and ensure the communication on progress on key contractual issues is provided to the team.

Behavioral/Organizational Competencies
•Demonstrated ability experience in working with multi-functional and multi-cultural project team in diverse and often difficult environments.
•Reports to a Lead Contracts Advisor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience/Ability in providing administrative support for the establishment and administration of the contract strategy and contract plans for large international capital projects (project value typically in excess of $100MM).
•Experience in the administration of lump sum EPC construction contracts.
•Ability to plan and organize contracting documentation within a contracting system.
•Attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documentation.
•Bilingual (Russian and English) is an advantage.
