The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Job Description: This is a dual role which is responsible for providing for: • Support to Contracts Advisors with all contract administration related tasks; and • Establishing and maintaining contract management related systems. 50 % Contracts Administration: • Raising and increasing Work Requests in the Ariba Contract Management System • Reviewing monthly payment claims and invoices • Development of pre-qualification and tender management registers and databases • Supporting and assisting Contract Advisors with the preparation and assembly of contracts and ensure that Company procedures are applied correctly • Co-ordinating with ABU legal & Supply Chain Management (SCM) in issuing executed contracts 20% Administration Duties: • Providing ad-Hoc clerical/admin support to the CP & SCM team • Maintaining internal correspondence registers • Establishing and maintaining contract insurance registers in Procon (Contract Management System) • Formatting and issuing general correspondence 10% Contract Plan & Reporting: • Maintain Central contract plan/database in SharePoint • Issue contracts status reports based on contract value, work orders and expenditure • Provision of reporting and assurance support to the CP & SCM Manager 20% Contract Document Management: • Ensuring all documentation is stored and maintained in the Coreworx Document Management System in accordance with ABU SCM procedures and requirements and in the post award Contract Management System, Procon • Management of archiving and filing for project contracts and commercial information • Distribution of contract documents to the Project Team and Contract Owners The Contracts Administrator must possess the following attributes: • Respect and understanding of Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture at home and the workplace; • A proven and successful record in a similar role of 7 years within the resource sector; • Ability to be proactive and work autonomously; • Solution orientated with a high level of initiative; • Strong contracts administration and document management experience; and • Willingness to learn and possess an attention to detail. Additionally it should be recognized that this position is directly responsible for providing support to the overall CP & SCM team and the CP & SC Manager, and the role will require the individual to interact and collaborate with the project Shared Services Team Contract Administrators.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Degree preference or evidence of further education commitment
Experience: Minimum 7 Years work experience in oil and gas / resources
Preferred Skills: Significant Contracts Administration Experience, strong Microsoft application skills, strong relationship and interpersonal skills
Certification:
Additional Comments: Position duration is 12 months, located in Perth, working 9 hour days.
