The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world. They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities.

The Role:
Our client is seeking a Contracts Administrator to be Residentially based in Port Moresby on a long term Contract Basis. Working along side the Project Execution Manager you will have previous experience in Contract Administration and also in the Construction field.


Your responsibilities will encompass:
• Prepare the construction agreement for execution and issue the Notice to Proceed
• Administer bidding, negotiating, pricing, purchasing activities and contract award for minor contracts
• Administer the General Contractor claims and payment process
• Review the pay applications and validate their accuracy to enable certification by the Architect (if applicable) and payment by Project Accountant
• Administer the site visit, observation, and inspection process with respect to validation of works completed
• Carry out physical verifications of materials and works claimed to form part of general Contractor’s Pay Applications to facilitate payment
• Administer the Request for Information(RFI) process of the construction contract
• Administer all changes to the contract documentation and resulting change orders
• Perform contract administration duties at project meetings as required
• Monitor and act on non-compliance with project time provisions established in the contract documents in the form of liquidated damages and penalties
• Perform contract administration duties at project meetings as required
• Issue notice of substantial and final completion
• Administer procedures for project closeout

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience will Construction Contracts
- Experience working for a oil and gas operator is preferred
- Experience working in remote locations

** Please note this is a residential Assignment (Not Rotational) with provisions in place for home leave **
