The Company:
Our major oil and gas client is seeking a Contracts Advisor for an indefinite opportunity in Toledo, OH

The Role:
THE CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR will be responsible for the development of Contract Strategies. You will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of contracting principles, including Contract drafting and formulation, legal requirements, Terms & Conditions and risk assessment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supporting strategic sourcing by participating in negotiations, requests for proposal documentations
- Development of contracting strategies, bid analysis and contractor performance metrics
- Working knowledge of the Category Management process i.e. Category Planning, Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Strong HSE focus and understanding of the Supplier Qualification process
- Conduct local, regional and international market analysis
- Management of the eProcurement supplier process
- Development of cost models to support Category Management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of procurement systems, , ERP SAP and contractor database familiarity
- Ideally Degree qualified or equivalent
- Excellent English, written and verbal
- Contract Management experience in downstream Oil & Gas
- Good commercial and business acumen
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Thorough knowledge of good international commercial practice and contract law
