The Company:
Established EPC Company who are renowned for their work done with many mainstream operators on a global scale.
Has successfully developed a large number of major projects, such as Jackets, process, accommodation and utility decks, semisubmersible hulls and their decks, turrets and FPSO modules, load and mooring buoys, modular refinery plants, industrial equipments, etc…

The Role:
Responsibilities:

- To ensure that the Company is not exposed to unnecessary contractual and/or commercial and/or insurance risk in the course of the project/contract
- Provides advice and guidance to assigned teams/departments on all contractual issues and reports on cost and variation matters.
- Develops contractual awareness within assigned teams/departments and ensures a clear financial understanding in terms of contract costs, accruals, etc.
- Contributes to or leads dispute negotiations.
- Drafts contracts and agreements, processes amendments and variations and ensures internal approvals are obtained.
- Leads performance reviews and identifies improvement plans for under-performing contracts.
- Promotes continuous improvement and high performance in all aspects of contracts management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- The person would have to be fluent in English. Spanish is not necessary as the client is Norwegian and Dragados has a multinational workforce.
- Minimum 10-15 years experience in contracts administration preferably working for EPC’s in offshore projects.
- Preferably with a degree in Law or alternatively in Engineering (wouldn’t worry too much about this)
- The role will be based in Cadiz and they will issue a contract for the duration of the project 2-3 years
