The Company:
Our client is an international chemicals and engineering company which is constructing a facility to produce chemicals used in the manufacturing of food packaging and liquid containers, as well as feedstock

The Role:
Contracts Administrator

Reporting to the Home Office Department and to the Construction Director, he is responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve execution of works, purchase or sale of goods or/and services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products within the Project. Duties include:

•Serving as the primary point of contact with internal and external entities (investor, general contractor, subcontractors and other entities) in all the contractual aspects, including contract management, contract compliance and contract-related matters.
•Preparing, supervising and revising of contracts that involve execution of works, purchase or sale of goods or/and services.
•Overseeing proposal planning and administration of contracts.
•Negotiating terms and conditions of contracts for execution of works, purchase or sale of goods or/and services.
•Providing assistance and advising the Project Management in all aspects regarding the contracts such as the correct interpretation of the provision of contracts, negotiation of contracts amendments, claims.
•Supervising and preparing official letters and communication in behalf of the Project Management toward the investor, general contractor, subcontractors and other entities regarding all the contractual aspects.
•Supervising over all actions of the Project Management and other divisions regarding all the contractual aspects.
•Preparing contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.
•Tracking authorizations and correspondence in contractual matters.
•Preparing contract change notices, monitoring contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
•Maintaining an audit file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
•Advising staff in pre-award contract reviews and post-award development of contract instruments
•Serving as the primary advisor to the Project Director, Administration Director and Procurement for issues regarding internal and external entities (investor, general contractor, subcontractors and other entities) in all the contractual aspects, including contract compliance issues, purchasing policy, or procurement procedures.
•Acts as a liaison between Administration departments andPurchasing to initiate renewal actions on current contracts, Assisting in writing specifications for goods, scope of work for services and statements of work for complex projects.
•Preparing and disseminating information to appropriate employees regarding contract status, facilitate contractor meetings.
•Developing and preparing regular reports on the status of contracts, contract summaries.
•Resolving contract payment disputes and conferring with contractors and other divisions concerning contract payments and compliance.
•Performing closing activities in contractual matters as needed.
•Tracking payments and deadlines of subcontractors and other entities.
•Analyzing and mitigate risk in contractual matters.
•Ensuring contract execution in accordance with company policy.
•Verifying proper performance of obligations by subcontractors and other entities .

Work Hours - Mon-Sat, 10 hours per day

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:

-2-10 years of experience in a similar contracts administrative/contracts management position
-Experience drafting agreements
-Experience drafting sub-contracts
-Legal experience is preferred
