The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Will be in the Downstream Implementation Contracts team , responsible for the oversight and monitoring of the EPCM contractor activities and performance on development , Management and administration of Downstream Implementation Contracts ( subcontracts ) against a portfolio of contracts , including :

• Oversight of effective and efficient pre and post award administration processes and procedures and confident use of the same across projects and multiple locations
• Ensure effective subcontract management claims management is deployed on specific packages and that appropriate risk mitigation and claims management measures are employed.
• Providing Downstream contracts organization and execution stakeholders with appropriate progress updates on contracting performance
• Ensure the EPCm are assessing, reviewing and providing supporting recommendations on charge orders and contractor claims for variations and extension of time for allocated packages.
• Supporting Downstream Implementation Contracts Manager and Execution Team with resolution of contract issues and disputes.
• Supporting contracts functional leadership across all project locations to drive preferred contracting and commercial behaviors by the EPCm contractor.
• Ensuring that commercial requirements and obligations of all contracts, including payments to contractors, and security and releases are met.
The role will involve deploying assurance process and procedures to monitor overall downstream subcontracts performance, effectiveness and adequacy of contracting procedures and processes, and EPCm performance on subcontract administration.
It will also ensure Governance and approvals process, procedures and activities for Downstream subcontracts are consistently applied to meet governance requirements.

The role will also involve managing interfacings and relationships with relevant stakeholder organisations to ensure effective communications, resolution of issues,
and capture of opportunities, including interfaces with business services, project controls, industrial relations, legal, tax and finance, project team and governance, claims and other subcontract activities and issues.

Facilitate transfer of knowledge and learning’s t other projects as appropriate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
+10 years Industry Experience
Previous Experience is contracts management .
Business , Engineering or related discipline
