The Company:
Our client who are working in a joint venture are looking to recruit a number of Contract Advisors for the next stage of their project in.
This will be a long term position and working on a rotation basis.

The Role:
Facilitates the development of Project Contracting Strategies and Plans
Develop and maintain Strategic Contracting Plans through engagement with all stakeholders (or manage EPCm to do so)
Maintain sections of Contract Planning Matrix in area of responsibility

Acts as commercial advisor to Project Management Team for all commercial matters associated with Project Contracts
Provide contract information required for decision making by PMT (contract value, governance approvals / limitations, term, special considerations).
Utilize Contracts Administrators reports and access to databases.
Develop negotiation strategies with PMT input.

Manages EPCM to Perform or Self Performs all aspects of Contracting on Major Capital Project Teams
In all cases, pre and post award:

Governance approvals (original contract and change orders /amendments)
Compliance with approved contracting strategies
Compliance policies;
Engagement with SME's

Manage or Produce:

Use project standard procedures, including CMSi for pre and post award activity tracking
Pre Award activities include:

RCA, ICP, Bidder List
RFP development including alignment of Scope with Compensation Exhibit and development of associated commercial documents
RFP Evaluation Plan
Tendering activities
Bid opening and Execution of RFP Evaluation Plan, Award Recommendation
Contract negotiations;
In managing EPCm, review and approve documents in accordance with authority provided

Post Award activities include:

Engage with all project disciplines to ensure contractor compliance with terms of the contract; attend weekly contractors meetings when appropriate
Support Project Controls and Finance to forecast & manage contract value and ensure timely payment to contractors
Management of commercial claims or disputes
Amendments or change orders
