The Company:
Progressive organisation which is already working on a number of prestigious contracts and has more at tender stage.
Based in Oslo they provide EPC services to both national and international clients.

The Role:
• Review of T&C’s and Client Conditions of Contract and other commercial conditions in the Tender and Project execution phases
• Qualify, negotiate and finalize contracts, agreements and insurance cover with Clients and against major subcontractors
• Assist Supply Chain in negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers and establish necessary Special Conditions to ensure adherence of the “back to back” principle
• Develop contracting standards, -conditions and -principles.
• Provide legal, contractual and insurance advice to the various sections.
• Contribute to achieving company’s HSEQ standards and goals and to the overall development of the company.
• Various administrative/section-specific tasks.

• Professional responsibility for contractual, legal and insurance matters.
• Tendering: Responsibility for review, qualifications and negotiations of customer contracts and agreements. Review and follow-up of subcontractor conditions. Support on commercial issues.
• Project execution: Ensure that the contract requirements and procedures are implemented by the project organisation. Variation orders, contract amendments and purchase orders.
• Supply chain: Advisor and support on contract review, negotiations and interpretation.
• Administration/Internal: Assistance with development and maintenance of Company-specific conditions, principles, standards and procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Higher legal education. Higher technical or business education is acceptable when accompanied with 5+ years of relevant experience and documented results
• At least 8 years relevant project and contract administration experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• International working experience appreciated
• Good communication skills, verbal and written
• Good language skills (English minimum)
• Ability to see interaction between legal, technical and commercial performance
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Availability for business travel is needed and interest in international postings beneficial

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• At least 8 years relevant project and contract administration experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• International working experience appreciated
