The Role:
Performs sourcing activities in accordance with Category Management Process
Participates in bid evaluations, negotiations and supplier selection
Prepares contract documentation, Amendments and Variations in accordance with processes
Manages contract administration in systems (Ariba OneSource & Backbone/SAP)
Manages supplier performance in accordance with Category Management Process
Inputs to regular reviews of supplier performance and, in collaboration with stakeholders, identifies opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement
Ensures compliance with Counterparty Due Diligence process
Liaises with business stakeholders throughout the sourcing and supplier management process
Manages inputs to other systems, such as the Contracts Information Database, ensuring data is up to date at all times
Ensures service delivery level and requirements are understood by stakeholders and suppliers
Ensures suppliers understand their obligations relating to policy, HSSE and code of conduct
Identifies service delivery issues and resolves or escalates them with suppliers
Assists with resolution of invoicing issues

Experience & Knowledge:

Computer literate. Familiar with Microsoft Windows & Office software
Experience of SAP, or similar system, desirable
Engineering and Subsea catagories

Any Other Relevant Information:

Positive attitude and motivated to succeed
Detail oriented Team Player
Able to learn new systems quickly
Prior client experience beneficial
Exposure to the oil and gas industry beneficial
Willing to travel to/work between Aberdeen and Falkirk as required.
