The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Contract Advisor with logistics experience for a long term project

Number of positions: 2
Duration: 12 month rolling contract
Location: one position will be UK based, the other will start within the UK and move overseas on a 4x4 rotation with the project

The Contracts Advisor (Logistics) is responsible for coordinating project contracting activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Contracts Advisor assists in the development of project contracting strategies and plans, market analysis, bid document preparation, issue of bids, supplier clarifications, evaluation and negotiation activities, and preparation and coordination of contract documentation for award. The Contracts Advisor manages coordination of contract mobilizations and administration and management of project logistic service contracts. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining interfaces with key stakeholders of the project.
Key Responsibilities: As a member of the Contracts Team, ensure timely execution of Logistics related contracts; assist in management of the administration and commercial activities of the Major Logistics Contracts to ensure that Contractor’s performance and deliverables meet project and company requirements. Specifically, the role will support the Contract Owner and Lead Contract Advisor with regard to any interface with the logistics Contractors. Responsibility will be a focal point for the Lead Contract Advisor and Project Logistics Leadership team relating to Logistics Contractor performance and necessary improvement initiatives; ensure all Project requirements are satisfied; and manage commercial assurance audits of Contractor performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or
Science preferred.
