The Company:
Our client is an independent operator with a track record in commercial delivery for large scale deep water oil and gas projects. To assist with ongoing project delivery we are now looking for a Contracts Advisor for a staff role based in London managing supply chain activity for North African experience.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following activity:

• Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager for the North Africa and Mauritania business unit
• Support the North Africa and Mauritania business in developing contracting strategies for international and locally sourced goods and services
• Manages the tender process including ITT, bid evaluation, negotiation of contracts, management of post contract award processes
• Monitors supplier performance
• Provides support and guidance to contract including resolution of discrepancies
• Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve operations and to achieve SCM functional excellence.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We are therefore keen to receive applications from candidate with the following skills:

• Oil and gas industry experience
• High level expertise in contracts formulation
• Proven track record in negotiating and administering complex contracts
• Degree educated
• MCIPS qualified
• Ideally with African oil and gas project experience
