The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Contract Advisor – Subcontracts to join our client’s Downstream project.

In this role you will be responsible to provide oversight and assurance of the PLF / MOF EPC Subcontracts, including change management, lien waivers, insurance, claims mitigation and closeouts. You will ensure all corporate compliance needs of subcontracts are satisfied, including required financial instruments, insurance certificates, authority levels, approvals, foreign corrupt practices act and support subcontract audits.

In addition, you will be responsible for all aspects of the contracting process on behalf of the project management team. You will coordinate with delivery managers and site construction management on contractor’s administration of subcontracts.

In this role you will review, validate, and continuously improve project subcontracting administrative procedures. You will coordinate with the various legal and contracting groups on contracting activities. In addition, you will participate in our client’s corporation CA / administrator network.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Commercial Management (or equivalent)

• 10+ years direct experience in contracts formation and administration on large oil and gas capital projects, preferably with contracts claims experience

• Self starter and able to function with a minimal degree of supervision

• Requires sufficient commercial maturity to recognize contractual structure and privity and engage Contractor and its Subcontractors in an oversight, assurance, and influencing role without directing in a highly complex project environment

This position is a 12 month contract, located in Onslow on a 28 & 28 roster, working 11 hours a day.
