The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
• Provide a broad range of contract management services, ensuring work is completed in compliance with Company's corporate standards and requirements
• Provide specialist advise and support to management and staff in all UK locations
• Undertake all activities in compliance with the Company’s corporate standards, applicable laws and regulations.
• Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment
• Contribute to the execution of the contracting strategy, in support of all UK activities, providing advice and support to all levels of Company personnel on matters relating to contracts planning and contract strategies.
• Undertake all formal contracting activities relating to onshore/offshore service/work contracts including strategies, pre-qualifications, tender list development, issues of ITT, analysis of tenders, contract negotiations and the preparation of contractual documentation.
• Undertake post-award contract administration including drafting and processing of amendments, variations and obtaining internal approvals. Contribute to the process of continuous improvement in the contracting process, including the adoption and sharing of best practice.
• Ensure a high quality of service is provided, that activities are completed to the highest professional and integrity standards and in accordance with Company's contracting procedures/processes and Sarbanes Oxley controls, whilst ensuring all decisions/commitments are recorded in an audible manner.
• In conjunction with department managers/representatives, monitor the performance of contractors and suppliers, developing highly positive and constructive relationships with key contacts, internally and externally.
• Develop and maintain highly positive and constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders.
• Openly and proactively share knowledge.
• Take ownership for the continuous development of personal and technical expertise and knowledge.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified or/ Equivalent vocational standard
• Solid experience in contract management role within oil and gas industry preferred
