The Company:
A major oil and gas operator is looking for a Contracts Analyst to work on a major capital project.

The Role:
The Contracts Advisor assists in the planning, coordination and execution of project contracting activities, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures. Assisting in the development & implementation of the project contracting strategy and project contracting plan. • Assisting in the establishment and implementation of project contracting procedures. • Supporting bid package preparation, issue, clarifications, evaluations, contractor selection and contract negotiations through to contract award. • Assisting in and leading preparation for, and coordination of contract mobilizations. • Administration of FEED and major EPC/EPCI/EPCM contracts, including contract change management, lien waivers, insurance, claims mitigation and closeout. • Preparing and administering all third party contracts. • Ensuring all corporate compliance needs are satisfied. • Ensure all project Joint Venture and host BU requirements regarding contracting processes and local content are satisfied. • Acting as a point person for contract audits; Engaging and coordinating with Legal and and other functional SMEs for contracting support. . • Experience in a contracting role for an oil and gas company or major Services Company preferred.• Candidate must be internationally mobile and willing and able to travel and work in international project locations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Science preferred.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
General experience in engineering and construction may be considered, if the candidate can demonstrate detailed experience in EPCM/EPCI contracts management and administration. • Experience in developing project specific contracting administrative procedures, in formulating bid packages for large, complex EPC contracts. • Managing and performing quality assurance for large package contract formation. • Managing communications and addendums associated with large package tenders, in bid analysis, contractor selection, complex contract negotiation and award processes. • Experience in the development and implementation of the contract strategy and contracting plans for large domestic U.S. and/or international capital projects. • Proven experience in performing the administration of major EPC contracts, including managing multiple and concurrent change orders and amendments, lien waivers, insurance, claims mitigation & closeout. • Utilization of requisite systems such as ProCon, Ariba, Docu
