The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Contracts and Compliance Manager to be based at our client's office located in Billingham.

The key objective is to deliver agreed contracts with funders in a secure, timely and effective manner which maximises the delivery of all carbon savings. Projects should be defect free and within budget with staff who are dynamic, multi-skilled and trained to the best industry standards.

To maximise the financial efficiency and profitability of the business through diligent application of proper contractual and commercial practices and with the minimum of risk.

Our client intend to deliver an accurate and consistent commercial function by providing expert:

- Support
- Training
- People

The Contracts and Compliance Manager will have sole responsibility to undertake and / or advise on all project duties including project management and delivery, agreement of work sections on specific projects including bids, including the liaison with key funders and clients.

• Provision of guidance and advice on contract compliance work, along with work in progress and future projections.
• Identifying development and training needs of staff.
• Providing staff with guidance on their job responsibilities.
• Provision of general support information to project teams.
• Assist / check and / or prepare on a monthly basis accurate Project Business Reports.
• Selection, procurement, management & settlement of sub-contractors packages.
• Optimise cash in and the net cash position.
• Help prepare the monthly management reports
• Preparation of loss and expense submissions.
• Negotiate with clients' representatives and other consultants.
• Advise on contractual implications of intended courses of action.
