The Role:
The Contract and Compliance Manager will accountable for the governance of all contractual requirements, including Federal and State legislation, oversee the provision and delivery of contractually committed resources, Health and Safety, performance standards, performance monitoring, reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and leadership within the Contract on standards, policies, guidelines and frameworks relevant to finance, human resources and asset management, contract conformance, safety and performance
• Identify and promote effective culture and work practices including improvements to current processes and the maintenance of effective administration systems.
• Ensure robust risk, safety and compliance systems are in place to support all legislative and contractual obligations
• Ensure all committees and working groups are in place, with clear responsibilities for compliance and control across the contracts portfolio
• Ensure Contract Change Proposals are compliant with the process, procedures and commercial parameters of the Contract to maintain Contract Integrity
• Undertake financial planning, analysis and reporting.
• Audit all accounts payable, purchase orders, goods receipting, assets in line with all parties requirements.
• Develop, coordinate and maintain administrative systems and procedures.
• Provide advice on corporate administrative procedures which impact on the contracts operations.
• Support the Technical and Operations Managers to coordinate and facilitate projects and initiatives that improve safety, quality performance.
• Deliver measurable value through establishing or improving operational frameworks resulting in continuous improvement, contract integrity and measurable savings
• Provide a mentoring and governance role that drives behaviours and operations to support critical processes and business improvement initiatives
• Oversee the provision of operational and technical resources to ensure compliance to ensure service delivery standards are achieved, maintained and continually improved.
• Audit and reporting on contract Performance and identify services or personnel that require additional support, training or resources to meet contractual outcomes.
• Oversight to ensure compliance with Federal and State legislation across all Service Lines

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Relevant diploma or degree (Business, Human Resources, Legal, Health & Safety, or related fields)
- Minimum of five years’ experience in related field or position
- Leadership and Communication Skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the business
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of the Services/Remote/Mining Sectors, including commercial, safety, standards and policy, accreditation and industrial legislation.
- Knowledge and understanding of governance and quality issues including, risk management practice, safety and quality, service evaluation, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead, and to initiate and achieve change and improvements, and to implement effective systems
- Experience in investigation, management and reporting.
- Proven high level leadership and change management skills, and capacity to build an effective team.
