Our client has over 90,000 personnel worldwide across 70 countries making them one of the largest oil and gas operators in the world. Our client is also involved in ground-breaking projects the likes of which the world has never seen before thus confirming their reputation as an innovator in oil and gas technology.

The Role:
Or client is currently looking to recruit a contracts & procurement engineer to assist with the management of contracts.
Key responsibilities include;
* Development and implementation of CP strategies to optimise value creation, safety management and effective business control.

* Ensuring all contractor selection, and management procedures oblige HSSE, Quality and Commercial performance to an exceptional standard

* Recommend and develop a more complex strategic plan to support complex business problems.

* Supporting Contract holders in managing performance and in executing Contract Management Plans.

* Carry out all CP activities in accordance with the relevant Policy and Standards.

* Be a trusted business advisor to contract holders and business partners.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and/or 5-10 years of experience+
* Deep understanding of CP governance, processes, systems and controls,
* Competent in all phases of the CP process
* Fully understand category management and the development and implementation of CP strategies
* Advanced understanding of the Oil and Gas industry
* High level commercial acumen, creativity, clarity of communication, and conceptual thinking ability.
