The Company:

The Role:
Currently seeking a contract and procurement specialist to join a market leading project and help assist with its shutdown requirements.
The role will consist of the following

* Secure services and materials from external providers in a timely, efficient and effective manner by managing the cycle of document preparation to bid, evaluate and award the required contracts.
* Take lead when allocated to develop, write, train, implement, maintain and participate in audits of Company/Department processes, procedures and systems.
* Organize all internal and external stakeholders contract approval documentation, and complete all activities required to accelerate internal and external approvals.
* Actively participate in implementation process of the HSE management and ensure that HSE issues are given primary consideration in all job activities/tasks undertaken within the area of responsibility.
* Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with suppliers in conjunction with legal, tax and the appropriate contract manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Relevant Commercial, Technical and/or Legal qualifications
* 5 - 10 years Contracts & Procurement experience, preferably in Oil and Gas or Mining Industries.
* Exceptional Commercial insight.
* Minimum 5 years in oil & gas or mining industry.
* SAP MM experience is a must.
* Knowledge of complex approvals and compliance regimes is essential.
