The Role:
An opportunity has become available for a Contracts Closeout Team Leader to join our client’s successful Project team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing Contracts Closeouts, where you will develop and execute assessment and commercial negotiation strategies for outstanding claims pertaining to near finished Contracts. You will take execution management responsibilities for selected near finished Implementation contracts.

As the Contracts Closeout Team Leader, you will work closely with the change resolution team and project execution management during the contract completion phase with a view to assuming accountabilities of concluding and commercially closing the contracts and purchase orders. You will drive accountability through the establishment of process norms, key performance indicators and associated reporting.

In this role, you will lead and sustain a highly committed team. You will also maintain and update staffing plans ensuring that the closeout organization is staffed with the appropriate number and competency of commercial resources to effectively deliver the required level of contracting commercial services and support objectives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following:

• Bachelors Degree Engineering or Quantity Survey Degree qualification
• 20 + years of Contract Management experience on an LNG and/or Onshore Facility
• Dispute Resolution experience
• Thorough knowledge of EPCm Contracting and West Australian Law
• Proficient in the use of MS-Office and contract management systems
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills – demonstrated interpersonal skills and team player capabilities.

This position is a 12 month contract, working 9 hours a day.
