Established in 1978, our client is an international company specialising in design, lease, operation and development of tanker based production and storage systems

The Role:
Job Objective

To ensure that all requirements for subcontracting are supported and administered in an ethical, effective and efficient manner.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assisting with the set-up, negotiation and monitoring of Contracts and Frame Agreements in the most economically advantageous manner, in accordance with corporate procedures and statutory regulations.
• Undertaking the general administration of Contracts and Frame Agreements, including the preparation of contractual correspondence and maintenance of files.
• Assisting with the creation and maintenance of the preferred suppliers list and acting as focal point for preferred suppliers list database.
• Verifying invoices in relation to Contracts and Frame Agreements.
• Advising and assisting in assessing contractors’ performance and service delivery.
• Being familiar with the Contracts so that able to advise and assist internal parties with queries.
• Assisting with the compilation of strategic plans.
• Reporting to and advising the Senior Contracts Engineer on a regular basis with reference to functional activities
• Providing support and assistance to the Senior Contracts Engineer.
• Deputising for the Senior Contracts Engineer in periods of absence.
• Any other duties as may be required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications: Higher qualifications in English and IT preferred (or proven proficiency in IT packages and in written correspondence)

Experience : Previous experience in a technical, commercial or legal role

Supplementary Training : Fire Awareness (CBT)
DSE (CBT)
Environmental Awareness
