The Company:

The Role:
• Take a leading role in the establishment of the contracting and procurement processes of Project(s), including commercial risk evaluation where required.
• Be responsible for the preparation of project contracting and procurement strategies.
Demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to excellent HSSE performance in support of the Project Manager’s accountabilities,
• Be responsible forthe management of ITT packages.
• Be focal point for the management of the tendering process, including evaluation processes.
• Review and finalise contracting documents for the project in co-operation with Asset Legal department.
• Lead the negotiation of major contracting packages, in a brownfield and greenfield project environment.
• Market intelligence abnd assessment in support of key project services and materials, such as vessels, and long lead, critical materials.
• Be responsible for the preparation of all documentation and processes to allow contract award, in particular, for EPIC contracts, where corporate and Partner approval is required.
• Interface with Partners on any contracting or procurement issues.
• Interface with Asset and Company Contracting & Procurement groups.
• Monitor and report on contractors contracting and procurement activities.
• Manage contract audits.
• Be responsible for all aspects of contract administration including performance management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Typically degree qualified or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of sourcing goods and services in the North Sea area.
• Good working knowledge of First Point Assessment Ltd (FPAL).
• Requires excellent knowledge of contract law.
• Working knowledge and understanding of UK / Aberdeen contractor, supplier base capabilities, and effective commercial terms for contracting in local markets.
