The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
For our client we are looking for a Contracts Engineer to provide contracts engineering support to Corporate & Project on various scopes as assigned with some supervision and support from the Contract Coordinator.

Reporting to the Contract Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects relevant to the prequalification, preparation, issue, receipt, opening and assessment of tenders and award and execution of contracts.

Your key deliverables will include but are not limited to;
• Coordinate on contractual, commercial, taxation, insurance, HSES and legal issues with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Negotiation of Contractors qualifications and exceptions during tender evaluation.
• Ensure contractor deliverables to tender/contract documents are delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure Australian Industry Participation objectives are being considered and implemented in all contracting and procurement activities.
• Maintain time and payment schedules and milestones as per pricing mechanism.
• Ensure commercial and contractual correspondence with contractor is effectively handled.
• Administration of legal issues related to damages, claims, disputes, litigations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will have a recognised professional qualification in Engineering/Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Law or equivalent. With strong knowledge in Contracts and Procurement, preferably in Oil and Gas, you will be a valued member of the team.

You must have the ability to work under pressure and to complete multiple tasks at once. With experience in contractor formulation activities, systems and processes coupled with a working knowledge of engineering and or services/consultancy practices you will excel in the role.
