The Role:
• Manages the Sales Contract Department, providing leadership, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement so that they take pride in the execution of their function while achieving the highest performance standards. Takes responsibility for the development of staff, in particular preparing Nationals for key positions.
• Directs, advises and manages, through the Heads of Sections, all sales contract activities pertaining to all Long Term LNG Customers, Spot LNG Customers, Condensate, Sulphur, Helium, LPG and Gas Pipeline Customers.
• Uses professional expertise to advise and influence the Joint Co-ordinating Committee, advises JCC Leaders on LNG Transportation and Business practices and leads Joint Co-ordinating Committee sub-teams for the implementation of newly executed long term Sales & Purchase Agreements.
• Provides professional sales and implementation advice to the company Marketing Committee and the individual shareholder marketers. Reviews and edits draft long-term Sales & Purchase Agreements and provides professional advice on all contractual areas, sales/transportation obligations and issues related to the subsequent implementation of such Sales & Purchase Agreements.
• Contributes to the planning & allocation activities and co-ordinates it within the organization & external customers.
• Directs and manages the development of economic analyses of business opportunities such as term LNG / gas sales, minor capital project investment and plant modification.
• Leads the development of LNG Annual Delivery Programmes with all Long Term LNG customers. Negotiates the key issues of seasonality and flexibility.
• Directs and manages, through the Commercial Specialist (Negotiator), the negotiation of all sales agreements throughout the organization.
• Approves the operating budgets for the Sales Contract Department.
• Recruits, motivates and develops personnel to ensure the Sales Contract Department is staffed with individuals of the required caliber and that there is adequate succession planning and provision for future demands.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent, and advanced degree in business administration required.
• Job requires specialized understanding and application of concepts, principles and practices related to planning, sales and contracts gained through comprehensive business experience.
• Job involves frequent interactions and communications with multi-cultural customers such as, Korean/Indian/Chinese/Japanese/European/North American.
• Work requires analytical, interpretative, and constructive thinking, with a significant degree of evaluative judgment.
• Minimum 15 years diversified oil and gas sector experience with profit centre responsibility and at least 8 years at the supervisory level.
• Excellent written and oral English language skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member.
• Extensive experience and familiarity with LNG projects and marine
