The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Commits to and champions the development and implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an incident and injury free culture. Provide the necessary oversight and stewardship to the Integrated Execution Team (IET) Contracts Manager on site.
Provide direction and leadership such that the administration of the various contracts at site is fully compliant with company processes and procedures, and deliverables meet project requirements in the following areas:
• Risk/opportunity identification and assessment
• Mitigation strategies and tactics
• Contract management plans and performance
• Risk impact and performance reporting • Contract process compliance Advise and support IET Contracts Team and endorse company input for Contract owners to ensure Contracts are being managed to obtain best overall performance in a safe and cost effective manner.
• Ensure effective contract administration in relation to Construction execution of the contract. • Risk/opportunity and performance reporting (cost forecast, variations, commitments, changes, site instructions, claims management, etc.) • Interface impacts and interdependencies • Commercial strategies and negotiation tactics, options and recommendations • Ensure creation and conforming of contract documentation in accordance with project master documentation and procedures.
• Participate in company contractor engagements and sponsor meetings Assist with development of the strategy for contract management on site and the effective interface with the Perth based organization. Prepare reports and provide advice to the Deputy Site Execution Manager on status, compliance, problem areas, and direction focus on all matters pertaining to contract administration. Assist with development of staffing strategies and plans for CM Organization at site
• Assist in leading and sustaining a highly committed team. Supervise / mentor junior contract personnel. • Interfaces with Contract Owners and Contract Executors. • Engage the team through communication and commitments. • Drive superior results. • Conduct and contribute to coaching and performance evaluation of team members.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum Qualifications: High School Graduate with 15+ years of directly related experience • BS, MBA in Engineering or Commercial Management Field preferred
• 5+ years as a Contracts Manager • 15+ years contract administration experience in construction
• Well developed communication and interpersonal relationship skills. • Competent in use of computer systems and software
