The Role:
GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Responsible for contract issues, negotiations, and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations. Verifies all aspects of the order, including pricing to ensure conformance with company policy while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Anticipates problems and initiates actions to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently. Perform contract administration, tracking, and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, funding limitations ensuring deliverance of timely notices to customer, cost performance and customer correspondence. Typically requires up to three years of experience. Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments as an entry level professional. Has limited to no discretion to vary from established procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.

SCOPE: Work as part of the Operations & Maintenance Contracts Team. This team manages over 350 active contracts that support Operations & Maintenance on the North Slope and in the Cook Inlet. These contracts represent nearly a billion dollars in annual spend, ranging from very large spend to very small but complex.

MANAGERS ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY DETAILS:

Responsible for contract, negotiations and administration for contracts that support Operations and Maintenance and small projects teams. Including but not limited to labor, construction, time & materials, lump sum, licensing agreements, lease agreements, master agreements, and scopes of work. Ensures conformance with company policy while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Anticipates problems and initiates actions to ensure customer needs are processed efficiently. Perform contract administration, tracking, and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, funding limitations ensuring deliverance of timely notices to customer, cost performance and customer correspondence. Has limited to no discretion to vary from established procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others. Has strong commercial skills including negotiation skills and ability to translate contract concepts into quantifiable interpretation. Familiar with terms and conditions associated with commercial service and purchasing agreements. Is a self-starter with internal motivation yet can take work direction. Must be willing to work within a team and collaborate with others.

Work activities will include but not be limited to:
• Execute new contracts and contract amendments & facilitate contract approval processes.
• Perform risk assessments using the COP risk assessment tool.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Contract Management Plans and Contract administration procedures.
• Support the administration and commercial management of contracts.

**9/80 schedule is also an option for successful candidate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in an office setting
• Strong work history
• 4 year degree
• Strong desire to learn
• Strong desire to share knowledge
• Ability to be flexible and multitask, supporting multiple team members and projects simultaneously.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in a sourcing and contracting role
• Experience with commercial negotiations
• Strong quantitative skills
