The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for an additional 2 Contracts Specialists to join the operations and maintenance contracts team. Working across a wide variety of business areas you will be managing complex contracts negotiations from pre-qualification through to post award. The contracts you will be focused on could include logistics, marine, engineering services etc so a strong all round commercial knowledge within the oil & gas operations & maintenance space is essential for this role.


Key responsibilities include:
* Direct, hands-on experience setting up and automating Contracts (Outline Agreements) in SAP
* Secure the acquisition of required services and materials from external providers in a timely, efficient and effective manner by managing the cycle of document preparation to bid, evaluate and award the required contracts, all in accordance with company processes and procedures
* Prepare all internal and external stakeholders contract approval documentation, and complete all activities required to expedite internal and external approvals
* Management of the process from pre-qualification through to post award undertaking negotiations through the process to successfully procure the right suppliers for the company
* Maintain current market knowledge of vendors and suppliers
* Negotiate commercial and contractual terms in conjunction with legal, tax and the appropriate contract manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* A background of circa 5-15 years within contracts
* Ability to manage complex negotiations
* Strong commercial knowledge
* A background within operations, maintenance or asset integrity
* Oil & gas industry experience
* Full life cycle experience from pre-qualification through to post award
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Experienced in using SAP
