The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• C&I Team Leader – functional practitioner responsible for the technical excellence of service delivery.
• The role will involve interaction with the Control & Electrical team (Teesside) whilst at the same time building up a C&E team offering from the Daresbury office to allow the servicing of customers from the NW.
• The person will be involved in the leading of C&E projects so as to ensure compliance with all technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of product delivery.
• The person will also work closely with BD so as to grow revenue from existing NW customers whilst also increasing opportunities from new NW/UK customers
• Financial accountability for personal assignments
• Fee earning role with high utilisation target and personal responsibility for meeting individual targets
• Understands competitive position of team and uses to influence the business offering
• Identifies and supports sell on and pull through opportunities
• Seeks opportunities to enhance margin performance
• Commercial and contractual responsibility ensuring compliance with company system

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree Qualified
• Chartered Status.
• Extensive Instrument engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Industry standards such as SIL/ATEX/DSEAR
• Experience of DCS and PLC systems
• In depth knowledge of Instrumentation design and engineering
• Sector knowledge to include Oil & Gas, Power and Chemical.
• Experienced functional practitioner within the C&I area
• Team player with the ability to network and build relationships both internally and externally.
• Proficient in use of MS office software

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Familiarity and experience of ESD systems & IEC 61508/11
• Experience of Automation cutover projects
• Offshore experience
• Experience of Autocad system
