The Company:

The Role:
To ensure all electrical, instrumentation and control maintenance routines, defect repairs and breakdown work are carried out in an efficient manner to meet contractual targets in accordance with site safety, environmental and quality procedures.

Duties:-

Responsible for implementation and feedback on preventative maintenance work, defect rectification, problem solving and project work relating to rotating and stationary instrument, electrical and control plant and maintenance equipment.
Production of maintenance procedures and contractor work scopes.
Obtaining spare parts from local, national and international suppliers in line with site quality procedures.
Supervision of contractor personnel to ensure all work is technically correct and in accordance with site safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Reporting to the Maintenance Management Team on the progress of their work and provide justified reasons for incomplete or delayed work so as to provide for more accurate forecasting and planning.
Update of documentation of work order records and reports using computer driven maintenance schedules.
Participate in the quality or safety committees required to maintain the site’s quality, safety and environmental management systems.

Qualifications:-

Minimum O.N.C/H.N.C qualification in instrumentation & control or electrical engineering, computer literate and served a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
Previous experience of power generation plant, gas turbine, steam turbine, waste heat recovery boilers and associated plant.
Possess good social communication skills, be open minded and flexible with a positive work attitude.
Must work well within a team, have the ability to work unsupervised and have a good problem solving ability.
