The Company:
Our client is an international service company at the forefront of safety and competency support for oil and gas operations around the world.

Offering safety consultancy, training, e-learning and a range of safety products, we aim to create a safer workforce in the oil and gas industry.

The Role:
To provide Control of Work consultancy services to upstream Oil & Gas operators and contractors on a world-wide basis, covering operational safety including Permit to Work, Risk Assessment and Isolation Management.

•To conduct HSE technical audits on client premises on and offshore;

•Produce procedures and other technical documentation to a high standard;

•To provide internal and external advice on all HSE matters, including legislation and best practice;

•To deliver relevant HSE projects including client liaison;

•To liaise with all other departments within the Company to achieve project deadlines and to promote the growth and development of the business;

•Develop, implement and conduct company HSE training programs as required;

•Deliver generic and client specific Control of Work training material as appropriate

•To develop new and service existing client accounts for UK and Overseas;

•Liaise with Team Members to ensure continuing progress in all aspects of given duties and responsibilities;

•To travel abroad as and when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Educated to degree level in an engineering or management subject;
•Offshore Survival Certificate;
•Nebosh Certificate or Diploma;
•Lead Auditor qualification;
•Comprehensive knowledge of Risk Assessment, Permit to Work and Isolation Systems;
•Comprehensive knowledge and command of the English Language;
•Able to provide professional HSE consultancy services to clients;
•Excellent IT skills (must be able to write reports);
•Knowledge of Offshore Industry;
•Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety within Offshore Industry;
•Excellent one to one and one to group communication skills;
•Excellent telephone manner and verbal communication skills;
•Experienced in providing HSE services to the oil and gas sector;
•Experience of working offshore;
•Experience of presenting to groups of people
