The Role:
MAIN DUTIES

As a trainer within the Company Control of Work Academy you will be responsible for delivering Control of Work technical training. The Company values include People and Service Excellence and this is expected throughout the CoW Academy.

Sensitivity of other cultures including Arab cultures is a key requirement of this role. The primary objective of this role is to deliver the full Control of Work curriculum containing Cresent developed material to the required competence level.


This role has the following key objectives:

- Deliver classroom training to internal and external Trainers and Coaches in all Control of Work subjects;
- Facilitate e-learning in all Control of Work topics.
- Deliver training within the Mobile Training Unit (Skid);
- Organise and prepare training sessions in line with the curriculum requirements;
- Ensure that we have an adequate number of skilled trainers for each specific project;
- Feedback on the suitability of the curriculum and make any necessary amendments if agreed;
- Assess the competencies of the trainees in line with our competency framework;
- Create and feedback Personal Development Plans for each trainee;
- Maintain up to date knowledge of legislation surrounding the training requirements of the Oil and Gas Industry ensuring accuracy of training courses;
- Maintain own personal development with regards to training and industry requirements;
- Be able to provide constructive feedback to candidates;
- Comply with Company’s and client policies, procedures and standards.

•Excellent communication and phone skills;
•Detail orientated with strong follow up skills;
•Ability to build relationships with senior personnel within client organisations;
•Ability to deliver presentations;
•Good Time Management skills and able to work to strict deadlines;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience of delivering Control of Work Training;
•Experience of working in the oil and gas industry;
•Degree/diploma level qualification or relevant professional experience.
