The Company:
Our client, one of the major brownfield providers (EPC) to the oil and gas industry is looking for an excellent candidate to join them as a control system designer or control system engineer.

The Role:
Control System Designer

Responsibilities:
•Ensure project schedules and client approved budgets are managed
•Prepare detailed cost, time and resource estimates based on client supplied work scopes
•Ensure all design, analysis and specifications are in accordance with applicable codes, governing statutory regulations, procedures, offshore installation specific design philosophies and meet project objectives and industry best practice.
•Ensure all HSQE requirements are met within the Control System discipline in accordance with Client procedures and management systems.
•Completion of offshore surveys and operational support downloads as required.

Control System Engineer

•Ensure all HSEQ requirements are met within the Control System discipline in accordance with procedures and management systems.
•Completion of offshore surveys and operational support downloads as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
B. Eng, P. Eng, or CET if the candidate possess an engineering degree must be a professional engineer registered (or eligible for registration) with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Must be willing to complete BST and travel offshore for job specific surveys, construction and commissioning support.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•ABB INFI90 DCS, S800, Composer and 800XA experience would be an asset.
•Able to work independently within the Controls Team.
•Good Team Player
•Minimum of 5 years Controls System experience in Oil and Gas field
