The Company:
Our Client is a leading Australian EPCM and consulting company with an extensive global reach and an enviable project portfolio. As a result of their Australian based operations they now have a strong foothold within the Coal Seam Gas (CSG) industry and are continuing to display their strength across multiple disciplines and industries.

The Role:
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:-

- Support commissioning of site based Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Coordination and interaction with client commissioning teams
- DCS Troubleshooting, preparation of test procedures and application support
- Commissioning modifications and system configuration of the DCS systems
- Participate in technical reviews, impact analysis, consolidation and tracking for each system
- Completion of all documentation including ITR’s, test check sheets, work permits and red line mark ups etc.
- Supporting loop checking of SIS and FGS Systems
- To provide training on SIS & FGS systems to commissioning, operational and maintenance personnel
- Ensure that the systems reflects the clients approved design and all applicable regulatory and code guidelines
- Coordination with key members of the team including the Technical Manager, Project Managers, Engineers and 3rd Party Engineers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you must have:

- An Engineering Degree in instrumentation, electrical or electronic fields
- Further qualifications in process control and instrumentation or electrical engineering would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Extensive Experience in a wide range of Process Control Systems and Instrumentation
- Extensive Experience working with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and the ability to complete complex engineering tasks.
- Thorough knowledge of applications, servicing, project testing, installations and commissioning
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Functional Design Specification documentation, control logic and programming philosophy, control narratives and complex loops.
- Strong problem solving and design skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Advanced working knowledge of engineering software
