The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Working within the Subsea, Flowlines & Pipleines (SSFP) Team, the Subsea Control System Site Representative will be responsible for the daily on-site coordination of the Subsea Production and SSIV Control systems equipment work and delivery process.
This will entail residency in the location of the Subsea Equipment Vendor (SEV) facilities in Norway, and business travel to the SEV facilities in Singapore and Malaysia.
The principle workscope will encompass:
• Weekly, and as necessary daily, communication of schedule progress, successes and challenges;
• Participation in the system engineering and detail engineering of the Subsea Production and SSIV Control systems;
• Participation in design reviews and workshops (HAZOP, HAZID etc);
• Monitoring of the Subsea Production and SSIV Control systems equipment, and Subsea Production Subsea Control Modules (SMCs) during build to ensure technical compliance, maintenance of quality standards, validity of qualification and testing and maintenance of build schedule;
• Participation in EFAT and SIT programs with day-to-day management of SEV resources on-site;
• Liaison with other SSFP groups (Trees, Manifolds, Platform Topsides, Installation engineering, Umbilicals, etc) to ensure prompt and controlled interchange of information;
• Management and logistical control of on-site free-issue and test equipment.
The role is part of a multifunctional project team responsible for managing the Project upstream scope including, detailed design, construction, installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up of the Platform and subsea / pipeline facilities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree Qualified (Engineering/Marine/Mechanical/Electrical) but relevant experience may be acceptable.
Demonstrated design knowledge of Direct and Electro-Hydraulic subsea controls systems and associated distribution equipmentand how these interface with subsea distribution and equipment systems.
Experience with the manufacturing, testing and integration of subsea mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and instrumentation equipment. Track record in the monitoring of Subsea Equipment Vendors and associated engineering contractors during build and test processes.
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised at SEV facility managing day-to-day issues associated with the build and test program. Capacity to manage local inspection resources as required.
Experience in working within engineering contractors and SEV's in Project execution, detailed engineering and fabrication environments.
Understanding of Australian standards to verify they are being adhered to.
