The Role:
Accountable to the Control & Instrumentation Departmental Manager and be responsible for the following:-

• All aspects of Instrumentation Design applicable to Oil & Gas industry
• Ensuring all designs meet with current regulations particularly relating to Safety Instrumented Systems
• The Specification, Design and Manufacture of Process Control Systems with continued support through to commissioning
• The preparation of all Specifications and Data Sheets relating to Instrumentation
• The Production of all documentation including cable and Instrument schedules
• The preparation and delivery of Loop Diagrams
• Liason with major Manufacturers and Suppliers
•The Design of all Flowmeters, Control Valves, Analysis Systems and Field Instrumentation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate should posses the following:

• Substantial experience of major EPC contracts and FEEDS
• Compliant with BS EN 61511 & ATEX Regulations
• Previous HAZOP & CHAZOP experience
• Development of P&ID’s
• Development of Control Philosophy’s
• Preparation of User Requirement Specs (URS) and Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
• Qualification HNC minimum
