The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Lead the development of Sadara Health Services policies and programs and provide leadership and expertise on Health Care Services for employees.
1. Perform all leadership functions of a director-level position as established by Sadara management.
2. Maintain close coordination with Sadara Management and abreast them of trends in Health Care Services and health related issues.
3. Conduct health promotion needs assessment, develop and implement appropriate plans and provide health services consulting at all levels of the organization.
4. Diagnose the health status of populations; identify current and future risks and mitigation strategies.
5. Forecast and manage budget, manpower, equipment and facility requirements.
6. Review, approve and monitor training and personnel development programs to ensure adequate qualified personnel.
7. Coordinate assessment programs to ensure conformity of Sadara’s facilities with health services response requirements.
8. Coordinate and provide health care services-related input for Sadara guidelines, standards and programs.
9. Recommend improvements and propose solutions to health services issues.
10. Coordinate the development and implementation of the health care services protocols, guidelines, standards and programs.
11. Review and approve health care services management systems, plans, standard and procedures.
12. Interface with all Sadara organizations and provide input on health care services related issues to Non-Sadara facilities.
13. Represent Sadara in International and National health services organizations.
14. Develop and maintain contacts with key partners in the community (scientific and non- scientific) and participate in community panels and organizations.
15. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Managerial Duties:
1. Direct and manage respective Divisions in performing their roles, responsibilities and delegated tasks.
2. Conduct performance evaluation reviews for direct reports, identify and ensure that they acquire the required managerial or functional skills and knowledge.
3. Provide input in forecasting the Department’s annual budget, in accordance with the Function’s strategic goals and objectives.
4. Determine needed skills or individuals in order to meet and exceed the objectives.
5. Create a productive and healthy work environment within the Department, and foster high attention to details and efficient knowledge transfer among employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Medicine, preferably in Occupational Medicine.
• Experience in Occupational Health Management and Leadership.
• The Minimum Years of Experience will be determined based on the target grade code. The table below shows the requirements for hiring purpose only and not to be used as a guideline for promotion. The minimum and maximum grade code of the job is currently work in progress as part of Sadara Contract with Towers Watson.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant experience in petro-chemical related Occupational Health Management.
• Arabic is not required but is highly preferable.
