The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
The CM Project Coordinator will work both on the computer and in the field and be expected to manage and communicate progress of the corrosion monitoring projects which will include performing hot taps, installing coupons and probes, coordinating efforts to research new monitoring locations and addressing access concerns on exciting monitoring locations. This will be a collaborative effort between the north slope corrosion monitoring team, corrosion engineers and the facilities. Excel proficiency is required.

This position should have project management experience or display strong capabilities in this area which is directly tied to CONSENT DECREE COMPLIANCE. There will be a significant amount of work being done in CMMS, the MoC process, procedure writing/review, so some level of understanding and experience in these programs would be valuable. Computer skills are required for this position with mid-level proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel. There is a proprietary software tool that will be utilized regularly, with training to be provided.

Below is a list of tasks the Corrosion Monitoring/CM Project Coordinator will be expected to perform. The skills for hot-taps and corrosion monitoring tasks have to conform to the corrosion monitoring technician qualification process used by the contractor.

• Manage the hot-tap process – from Engineering and Construction hand-off to plug installation and commissioning
• Review and coordinate the completion of all hot-tap package documentation
• Ensure project schedules are included in the P6 process
• Organize and facilitate hot-tap pre-job safety meetings with each facility
• Perform hot-taps of access fittings on in-service piping
• Install new plugs and monitoring devices
• Perform field research at locations that do not have adequate information
• Determine if access fittings are serviceable, install monitoring devices in usable fittings and initiate repair action for those that are not
• Locations that are not accessible or serviceable will need to be addressed in order to repair, replace, or gain access to fittings that are not currently being pulled
• Initiate work requests and facilitate the progress of these work requests to completion
• Work with the Developments Core Construction team and design engineers to Ensure that new locations are safely accessible
• Shut-in wells are to be pulled only during summer months (because of an HSE hazard), so some of these personnel could assist the regular monitoring crew with any extra summer workload.
• MIMIR data entry for new access fittings and information
• Weekly progress reports
• Weekly or bi-weekly project status meetings with CIC Anchorage and the North Slope CIC Pigging & Chemicals team
• Frequent email and phone correspondence with CIC Anchorage and the North Slope CIC Pigging & Chemicals team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Min. of 5 years experience
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel
