The Company:
Our client (big oil & gas company) looking for Corrosion Technician

The Role:
EMPLOYEE’S FUNCTIONS
 Supervision of inspection contractor to assure compliance with company plans and contract terms & conditions.
 Manages data in support of Operations Technical engineering teams. Receives raw data from contractors and assures data quality. Organizes data to enable engineering analysis.
 Technical interface with Operations, Maintenance, and Operations Technical during execution of corrosion control and monitoring contracts, including cathodic protection and oilfield chemicals
 Liason between YPO engineering staff and field Operations and Maintenance staff
 The employee shall be responsible for poor performance of the job duties, violation of the Employment Agreement provisions, local regulations and requirements of the RF legislation as specified by the RF Labor Code.

EMPLOYEE’S JOB DUTIES
1. Represents Programmatics at OPF morning and evening meetings. Knowledgeable regarding activities planned for the contractor.
2. Coordinates movements of inspection contractor, including notification to OIM regarding dates and job scope. Notifies OIM regarding results.
3. Reviews inspection contractor work activities to assure compliance with Upstream Safety Manual
4. Assure inspection work is completed to COMPANY & contractor inspection procedures and RTN requirements
5. Assure that all work is authorized in advance with Purchase or Work Orders
6. Assist in the installation and application of corrosion controls.
7. Work closely with operations, maintenance, and contractors to determine and respond to changes in the field in a timely fashion (for example, changes to chemical programs, field QA/QC findings, and coordination with other concurrent work).
8. Interface with operations to obtain necessary permits and safety training to inspection and other corrosion related contractors.
9. Report corrosion failures and problems to the Corrosion Engineer.
10. Assist in tracking repair status of degraded equipment and assist in maintaining the GOI and ERIT Lists.
11. Perform routine corrosion monitoring and inspection activities.
12. Perform routine maintenance on field corrosion controls.
13. Assist the Corrosion Engineer in scheduling and conducting inspections in coordination with Operations.
14. Plan work scopes and schedules.
15. Supervise Contractors carrying out integrity program activities.
16. Perform routine corrosion monitoring and inspection activities.
17. Perform routine maintenance on the field corrosion control system.
18. Other duties as required and determined by Department in accordance with applicable rules and regulations
19. Employee is responsible for conscientious performance of his/her duties in accordance with Russian Labor Code
20. Any other reasonable tasks and duties as required and determined by Department in accordance with applicable rules and regulations;
21. Attend all mandatory for employees Company training programs and seminars, including computer-based programs;
22. Perform assignments in a safe and diligent manner, follow labor safety rules, timely inform the supervisor about any incidents, injuries, near misses and potential hazards at his/her working place or at others’ working places if witnessed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIRED
- Vocational diploma from a Fuel and Energy Technical College (Specialisation in Oil and Gas Field Operations);
- 4 years of educational training in Oil and Gas Field Operations.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good English language skills
- Good computer skills - MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Lotus Notes
- Good time management and organization skills
- Ability to set priorities
- Organized and methodical
- Good interpersonal skills
- Customer focused
- Initiative and ability to search for information

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
- Not required but prior experience in office environment and tenant/client services will be an advantage.
