The Role:
An opportunity ahs arisen or an Cost Administrator to join a leading Oil and Gas company for a 12 month duration. This main as focus of the role is to prepare, analyse and investigate cost records for overhead and operating costs, conduct cost audits and determine and install cost accounting methods and procedures.

Responsibilities include but may not be limted to:

•Undertake cost investigations including those relating to quotations, estimates and proposed expenditure
•Prepare reports and correspondence relating to the above
•Validating ICT invoices for costing and value
•Prepare billing documents, and maintain revenue collection register and verify that F&A have recovered funds
•Calculate standard costs and value from purchase invoices and shipping files
•Compile cost data to ascertain distribution of costs among activities, products and cost centres
•Conduct cost audits and analyse actual versus standard costs and prepare reports of variance
•Ensure activities comply with legal, professional and ethical standards.
•Primary Interface between the ICT department and F&A department

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or cost administration role
•Interpersonal Skills
•Analysis and decision making
•Proficiency in MS office applications
•Ability to work as a team member towards a goal
•Work with little or no supervision
•Demonstrate ability to effectively plan and organize
•Manage multiple tasks
