The Role:
Job Description:
The Cost and Schedule Analyst will be responsible for helping to generate cost estimates, stewarding cost and budget surveillance, and maintaining the team’s rig schedule. This analyst reports to the WWV-DW Engineering Manager and works closely with the engineers, controllers and Procurement.

Job Responsibilities - Cost
• Work with engineers to develop AFE cost estimates
• Develop POTSIs and MSRs
• Perform cost surveillance for ongoing wells and publish weekly cost update
o Ensure well to well transfers are completed and accounted for in WellView
o Resolve discrepancies on invoices
• Prepare AFE request letters and documentation as required
• Maintain cost book
o Interface with various people to update cost book with rate changes
• Contract owners in Procurement
• Ops Supt for boats, helicopter, shorebase
• Controller for supervision
• DIMC for DIMC cost
• MWCC for CWA fee
o Troubleshoot programming / logic errors in cost book
• Track well and project costs
o Develop project cost and schedule estimates
o Track funding, commitments, spend, and booked costs
o Track and report work in place (WIP) on a monthly basis for company projects
o Track timewriting cost versus budget
o Supply required information to controllers and project team as agreed with project team
• Steward P&B and O&S for WWV Deepwater Drill Team
• Point contact for Procurement for PO increases and request pre-emptive PO increases as needed
• Interface with Procurement to perform price check on periodic basis for key suppliers
• Act as point contact for Buenos Aires Procurement team
• Complete PWCR and FCE to booked cost reconciliations at end of well
• Supply miscellaneous cost and schedule data at drill team, project team and controllers request
Job Responsibilities - Schedule
• Maintain and distribute drill team rig schedule based on target days and ensure well sequence alignment with Deepwater Rig Schedule and other rig schedules published by Planning group
• Maintain well readiness spreadsheet to track need dates for funding, equipment, permits, approval (COMPANY and co-ventures), and Upstream Well Planning Process relevant dates

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 2 to 4 year degree preferably in science, math, or accounting related field
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Familiarity with tracking spend versus budget
• Proficient with MS Word and PowerPoint; highly skilled in MS Excel and MS Projects
• Proficiency with SAP preferred
• Basic knowledge of drilling and completions operations preferred
