The Company:
An establsihed oil and gas operator company in Indonesia is looking for the qualified candidate for "Cost Controller" which has strong experiences background in oil and gas company

The Role:
• Develop, review, consolidate, and refine cost estimates
• Forecast and analyze Project cost (trend, scope change, reforecast, commitment, incurred and claims).
• Maintain up-to-date forecast of final anticipated cost.
• Identify potential changes to/trends in cost in a timely manner to allow informed mitigation decisions and actions. Interact with and advise budget owners and management on status and potential corrective actions
• Provide support/input to business plans, budgets, and funding requests
• Prepare monthly expenditure plan, cost status and report
• Monitor and allocate Budget and Contingency
• Monitor Cost allocation to the proper WBS and costing break down codes.
• Managed the reconciliation between the systems (Cost, Finance, Accounts, Procurement, Contracts)
• Review contracts type and the payment schedules.
• Utilize cost programs for the tracking, trending, and control of budgets, commitments, accruals, expenditures and contingency drawdown.
• Timely and correctly issuing supporting Document to support EPCI Contractor invoices.
• Work with Contractor in processing Progress Payment Certificates.
• Assist project accountant with payment of invoices, back charges and reconciliation.
• Assist Contract/Project Close Out
• Comply with Company cost control procedures and project requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Having 7 to 15 years experience out of which 5-10 years in Cost engineering/cost control/cost estimating of major capital projects (above USD 1 billion) in the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably in offshore projects
• Understand project management process, cost engineering, activity base costing, project CBS/WBS and project costing
• Working abroad with multinational/culture environment will be an advantage
• Bachelor degree or its equivalent
• Having knowledge/background in one or more of the following areas: economics, planning / budgeting, project cost control and/or finance / accounting
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or having proficient skill in the application of computer software and systems: Excel, Word, Access, SAP/JDE, Cost Manager.
• Good teamwork and communication skills with high initiative
• Willing to stay outside big cities and/or any fabrication yard around the globe
