The Company:
Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry. This role is based in our client's project offices in West London and supports our clients project in Oman.

The Role:
Role Definition: This role is responsible for setting up and operating the cost database system (Our Client's own version of Kildrummy® CostMANAGER). In addition the role encompasses taking on the PSPC Administrator role.

Plans & Procedures
­• Ensure development of projects specific cost control procedures before implementation of the cost database system. Partial input only.
­• Assist in defining project specific data interfaces and reporting requirements for all stakeholders, including but not limited to project management, other members of the Project Services team, Finance, Commercial, PSCM and Contractors.
• Maintain/track and report Project staffing LTP, interfacing with Finance to ensure alignment
• Maintain/track and report annual staffing plan (GFO0)

Database Set-up
• Completion of loading projects, budgets and reporting structures in the database.

Implementation and Operation
• Implement project wide cost measurement and reporting system, including roll-up levels and reporting cycle calendar.
• Work with the Cost Engineers to map the cost data to the standard WBS for reporting external to the project (e.g., eProjects).
• Train users; Assign responsibilities to ensure interface and coding requirements are fully tested before use.
• Import data from other corporate or project systems, as part of the monthly update and reporting cycle.
• Co-ordinate routine updates to the Database with the Delivery team Cost Engineers including the monthly estimate of VOWD and Forecast to Go costs.
• Maintain database security and user access.
• Interface with back office IT&S database administrators
• Provide monthly updates on staffing plan/forecast through PSPC to Cost Engineers to facilitate monthly cost reports
• Maintain PPAF register, ensuring process alignment with procedure

• Major Projects Common Process (MPcp), MPcp Project Services Guideline
• MPcp Cost Engineering Procedure
• Review Contractors procedures and processes
• Oil and Gas Finance processes/policy regarding foreign currency exchange
• Project Staff Planning & Control Strategy Plan
• Cost management software (e.g., Kildrummy ®CostMANAGER)
• Reporting Templates
• IT&S procurement process
• Interfacing data systems (e.g., ePROJECTS, etc.)
• Project Staff Planning & Control Strategy Plan

• Project Procedures (cost control and reporting)
• Estimating, cost control and reporting sections of Contract documents
• Hedging Strategy and FOREX reporting requirements where applicable (limited input).
• Project Cost Reports (CBS/OBS)
• Project Reporting Calendar
• Trained users; clear roles & responsibilities for data input/reporting
